Dr. Dareck DeShields completed his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Science at NC A&T State University in 1999. He Received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2003. His professional interests include orthopedics, neurology and soft tissue surgery. He has been an associate with the Animal Clinic of Brandon since 2003, and is now the owner of Animal Clinic of Brandon since 2021. In his spare time, Dr DeShields enjoys spending time with his family and keeping up with the Florida Gator football and basketball teams

Dr. Dean Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 1987. He attended the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving his DVM degree in 1993. He spent five years as an Army Veterinary Corps Officer, being stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in North Chicago and at MacDill AFB in Tampa. He has been with Animal Clinic of Brandon as a full-time associate since 1996.

I was born and have lived in or around Tampa all my life. I’ve grown up around all types of creatures and always had a passion in caring for animals of all sizes. I admired large animal medicine in Future Farmers of America in high school and then when attending Hillsborough Community College’s Veterinary Technology program, I grew an appreciation for small animal medicine. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and have been with the Animal Clinic of Brandon since 2014 and became the business manager in 2023.

Originally from Missouri, my husband and I relocated to Florida in 2005. I have been with the Animal Clinic of Brandon since 2008. I really love my job and enjoy interacting with our clients and their pets.

I was born into a military family in March of 1986. I’ve had the great privilege of traveling around the world because of the Air Force. My final move was to here in Tampa. It was here that I met my husband, we were married in 2008. I have kids, cats, dogs and ferrets. Although I have never owned a horse I do love horseback riding. I like to spend my free time with my kids, reading, or watching TV and movies. My love of animals is what led me to working in a vet’s office. I love working with animals and I can’t imagine ever doing anything else.

My name is Andy. I have been working at The Animal Clinic of Brandon since 2021 as a receptionist. I also do some tech work when I am needed. I was born and raised in Florida. I enjoy everything that is outdoors and nature. I also enjoy documentaries and trying new foods!

I am a graduate from Southern Technical College. I started working with animals in Shelter Medicine and learned how much they mean to myself and others. I started working at the Animal Clinic of Brandon in the beginning of 2023. I have 1 dog named Eivor, who is a very hyper boy!

I have been in Brandon almost my whole life, I have always had a love for working with animals and entered the veterinary field in 2011. I have two dogs, two cats, two children, and a wonderful husband. Outside of work, my passions include; spending time with my family, photography, thrifting, and finding a good chai latte.

I was born is Zephyrhills, FL and have lived there my whole life. I have always had a love for animals. I love large animal medicine, but learned that my passion is for small animal medicine. I am a Certified Vet Assistant and plan to go back to school to get my Veterinary Technician Certification! When it comes to having pets, I have too many to count, but I have 2 husky’s, a beagle, and a spaniel mix and 6 cats! I love working in the veterinary field, helping treat your pets and helping with clients!

I am Puerto Rican and was raised in Tampa. I have two dogs, “Lucky” and “Panky”. I am a pre-vet student at USF and once I’m done, I plan on going to Vet school.

I'm from north Florida and I moved to Tampa in 2019. I started working in the animal field as a receptionist at Blue Pearl, I then started my own pet sitting service and came to work at Animal Clinic of Brandon in 2023. I have two pets at home - a one-eyed dog named Smokey and a cat named Bear. I'm currently working towards getting my B.A.S in Veterinary Sciences and my technician certification.

I have one crazy pup named Piper and have always been passionate about animals. I'm currently attending Penn Foster College to receive my CVT and aspire to be a veterinarian one day.

I have always wanted to be in the veterinary field since I was a little girl. I grew up always having many furry friends in the house. I am a Southern Technical College graduate, I started here at ACOB in 2021.

I am originally from Utah. I moved to Florida at the beginning of the year. I have been in the veterinary field for over 3 years now. I love interacting with our clients and their babies!
